A workshop about the CrowdHEALTH project took place at MIE 2018 in Gothenburg, (Sweden), on 26 April 2018, 8:30-10:00. The participants from the CrowdHEALTH consortium were Argyro Mavrogiorgou (UPRC), Thanos Kiourtis (UPRC), John Mantas (EFMI), Antonio De Nigro (ENG) and Sokratis Nifakos (KI).

Argyro presented the overall approach and the idea of CrowdHEALTH, referring all the functionalities and capabilities. The consortium showcased two demo videos with regards to the Policy Development Toolkit and the Visualization Workbench.

Antonio then took the lead, and presented the overall idea of data integration, the interconnection of the components and showcased a live demo including an end-to-end scenario about the creation of the HHRs and their translation in FHIR.

The audience was really interested on CrowdHEALTH and some participants asked their questions about it. The main topics were:

  • How does CrowdHEALTH anonymize the data, by the time that we have to know to whom a medical dataset belongs to, when we want to provide to him personalized care.
  • How does the overall mapping to FHIR will work, since in the near future we promise to have multiple of devices connected over the CrowdHEALTH platform, and not only the Use Case datasets.
