More specifically, Care Across is a digital health company focusing on cancer patients. It aims to provide reliable, evidence-based information, support, expert answers to relevant questions, as well as interactive tools.
In the context of CrowdHEALTH, the company is offering 100% personalised services to cancer patients. These are “online coaching” information and support services around their everyday quality of life and their practical needs. The personalisation element is based on input from the cancer patients themselves, via a custom-built online platform.
This online coaching mechanism is the cornerstone of the policies being evaluated. The overarching goal is to provide policymakers with insights into how patients perceive such coaching, whether they actually adhere to it, and what impact it has on certain measurable aspects of their behaviour.
