The MIDAS Consortium is hosting a BIG DATA FOR HEALTH POLICY SYMPOSIUM on 20th -21st January in Derry (Northern Ireland).


On 5th July 2019, a workshop about the CrowdHEALTH project will take place in Athens (Greece), in the framework of ICIMTH 2019 (17th International Conference on Informatics, Management and Technology in Healthcare).

The First IEEE SERVICES Workshop on Big Data for public health policy making - in conjunction with the IEEE SERVICES 2019, July 8-13, 2019, Milan, Italy - seeks submissions from academia and industry presenting novel research on all theoretical and practical aspects concerning the adoption of Big Data Analytics in the context of evidence-based public health policy making.

The Commission presented a set of recommendations for the creation of a secure system that will enable citizens to access their electronic health files across Member States.

Ivo Ramos Maia-Martins from Atos Spain participated as a speaker on the debate of “Theme 3 Digital Patient - Everything is Technically Possible” in the 9th European Conference on Rare Diseases & Orphan Products (Vienna, 11th of May of 2018) presenting examples of several research projects.
